Dear readers,
I’ve just received a heartbreaking news today after returning home from my MUET invigilation. My dear friend Johana had just lost her baby today. Her son, whom she had been calling ‘little khalifah’ passed away due to premature birth complications. That’s the saddest news for any mother. I feel so sad for her. She was so happy when she knew she got pregnant. She was so happy when little khalifah was born on 7th of October 2011. Our TESL gang even planned to do a mini-reunion & meet her, and her little khalifah this December.
Ya Allah, I’m so sad… Imagine that you have been anticipating your firstborn child for months & to have lost that precious child in just a few days after he was born…missing out the chances to see him grow up. It’s so sad.
"Who, when a misfortune overtakes them, say: 'Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return' "
