Photo session

Say cheese! It’s picture time!

This week, we had a photo session for all the teachers in the afternoon session. Except for our dear Mr. Safri (who went to KK), the rest of us could be seen here in the pictures below posing for the camera.

Actually, I've just noticed that I only have pictures of our candid shots...LOL

Mr. Sabri, our Senior Assistant for the Afternoon Session, joked that he forgot to suck in his belly. Hahaha! 1...2...3...hold your breath teachers!

The Form 6 students who took our pictures mentioned that it seemed that teachers in the afternoon session are all sporting teachers. We don’t mind making a fool of ourselves during photo session. Kekeke...it’s true. We are indeed, a lively bunch. We eat a lot (all thanks to the ever so wonderful Madam Jumah) & we smile a lot too :)

Working together with my colleagues in the afternoon session is fun. They make me enjoy my job, even if the students are kinda giving us headaches...most of the times. Well, anyway, hats off to all the dedicated teachers in the world.

Cakes: Yum...yum

I suddenly had been thinking about cakes 2day.

I love cakes...in moderation, of course. Too much sugar, will make you crazy, don't 'ya think? Kekeke...

So, what is a cake? According to Wikipedia; "Cake is a form of bread or bread-like food. In its modern forms, it is typically a sweet and enriched baked dessert. In its oldest forms, cakes were normally fried breads or cheesecakes, and normally had a disk shape."

Hmmm, what are some of my favourite cakes? I would say...

Uno...My mother's 'Kek Lapis Rempah'.

It's heavenly, believe me. Ooo, just thinking 'bout it makes my mouth watery. Hope she'll make some for this year's Aidilfitri celebration.

Come to think of it...I think I need to learn how to make one of this so that I can 'inherit' it from my mom...keke.

 


Dos...Chocolate Ice Cream Cake. Preferably sprinkled with Oreos. Delish!

Tres...Oreo Cheesecake.

I know...you wanna say, 'What the...? Oreo? Again?'

LOL. I'm a sucker for Oreos, the chocolate kind. Hehe... Gimme some chocolate Oreos, and I'm fine.

Though, don't ask me to smile after that. 'Cos my smile will be all-chocolatey. Believe me, you don't wanna see that. Keke...

Note to self: I need to learn how to bake all of the above cakes before next year. Ooo...that's a tough job.

And before I end 2day's entry, I would like to show off...2 cakes that people made for me... Huhu, I feel loved!

This one from my colleagues. I have no idea why they put 4 candles, though. I'm not 40...YET! Keke...

And this one from my students. I was their class teacher last year. So, this was for the end-of-year class party.

Well, I end this entry with a determination.

I'll try to learn how to bake one of my favourite cakes hopefully by the end of 2011.

In the meantime, bare with me whenever I post some of my 'attempts' towards the perfect cake. :)

Me & my Alter Egos...?

BEFORE:

I was thinking to myself...should I create different blogs for different purposes? I mean...I react differently to different people :)

'Cos, we couldn't help it...whether we noticed or not, we all actually have different personalities throughout our lives. For example; I am a sister, a daughter, a grand daughter, a friend, a colleague...

So, should I just create different blogs for each & every personalities that I have? Hmmm...maybe, or maybe not.

Sometimes I think...yes. 'Cos I want to separate between my private & professional lives. Other times, I think...no way. 'Cos it is too much of a hassle to update things if I have multiple blogs.

Hmmm...let me think. To be or not to be.....
